When traveling to different water systems/locations as a Groundwater Specialist it becomes increasingly clear why people love to coin the expression, "I love calling North Carolina
Home." Recent system work at Nantahala Outdoor Center led me to meet other new contacts.
Traveling from Sylva, NC up Hwy. 64 toward Hayesville, NC one gets to experience breathtaking views of the awesome Appalachian Mountain range. WOW

WHAT'S UNIQUE?
So, what makes Miller Well Drilling, (MWD) a unique operations?
The diverse array of services offered sets them apart from many similar operations. Many services range from drilling wells for private home owners, municipalities, businesses, and property/home owners associations (POA's, HOA's). In addition, other services include performing required maintenance to water systems, bacteriological sampling, installation of water filters, sanitizing service, heat tape application to prevent frozen pipes and the installation of lawn hydrants for home owner irrigation convenience.
Lights, Action, CAMERA!
Other diagnostic services includes a sonar static water level detector and in-well video camera and filming equipment for accurate diagnosis of structural failures and water vein identification. Why spend thousands of dollars to install a new well if your existing well can be repaired for less expense? Well video camera technology allows well owners the opportunity to make more qualified diagnostic decisions thus eliminating chance and guess work. Numerous other services are offered to landscapers, new home owners and utility operations to include digging and trenching.

PUBLIC WATER SUPPLY SYSTEM ASSISTANCE
In certain cases MWD may offer extended services to Public Water Supply Systems. MWD employs certified water operators to perform the water sampling, chemical analysis requiring
reporting and daily maintenance.
This is the case with the Chatuge Village HOA, Eagles View HOA and Granny Squirrel HOA. MWD has the combined capability of drilling and developing a well along with having on staff certified operators to help run and maintain the system. Greater efficiency and credibility can be expected from a turn-key type operation of this type.
